Maria Muldaur is one of the best Blues/Americana singers in the world and has recorded 40 solo albums with six of them nominated for a Grammy. She is celebrating the 4oth anniversary of the release of her most famous and big hit song, “Midnight At the Oasis.” She has recorded with some of the most celebrated artists in the genre including Bonnie Raitt, Joan Baez, Koko Taylor, Phoebe Show, John Sebastian and David Bromberg. In 2011, her album “Steady Love” reached number one on the Blues charts and it reflects the kind of music she loves to perform live which calls “Bluesiana Music.” The music is a combination of New Orleans-flavored Blues, R&B and “Swamp Funk.” She teamed up with the Campbell Brothers (world renowned Sacred Steel artists) and toured in 2013 worldwide with the 50th Anniversary Kweskin Jug Band Reunion Concert for a special presentation “Spirit and the Blues.” She wears many hats, all of them well.
