Metallica Extended The M72 World Tour Into 2027 With 12 New North American Stadium Dates
Metallica announced Wednesday that the M72 World Tour, which has already played 99 shows across 26 countries since kicking off in April 2023, is extending into 2027 with 12 new North American stadium dates.
The new leg runs May 8 through June 19, starting at BC Place in Vancouver and closing at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City. Limp Bizkit and Avatar will open all dates.
The 12 cities: Vancouver, San Diego, El Paso, San Antonio, Fayetteville, Kansas City, Raleigh, Indianapolis, Buffalo, Madison, Cleveland and Salt Lake City.
Each show is a single-night standalone concert rather than the two-night No Repeat Weekend format from earlier tour legs.
The signature in-the-round production returns, stage at the 50-yard line, Snake Pit at center. The I Disappear Ticket, which grants access to all 12 shows, is also available.
Before returning to stadiums, Metallica plays their Life Burns Faster residency at the Sphere in Las Vegas, 24 shows over 12 weekends running through March 2027.
Fan Club presale begins Monday September 21 at 10 AM local time. General on-sale is Friday September 25 at 10 AM local time.
