Lovely Japanese violinist Mayuko Kamio wowed audiences with her virtuosity when  she last performed with the BPO in 2014.. She returns to perform Mozart’s Turkish Violin Concerto #5 and Mahler Symphony #5 with JoAnn Falleta at the baton. Ms. Kamio started playing the violin at age four and she became the youngest artist to win the prestigious Menuhin International Violin Competition at age twelve. She has toured with the National Philharmonic of Russia, the Budapest Festival Orchestra, the Munich Philharmonic, the Prague Philharmonic, the BBC Philharmonic, the Israel Philharmonic, the Tokyo Philharmonic and the Boston Pops.
