Rick and Morty Soundtrack Debuts on Top of the Billboard Charts

Following its Sept. 28th release the Rick and Morty soundtrack debuts on six Billboard charts week ending Oct. 5th. The album, from Adult Swim and Sub Pop, ranked:

  • #1 Vinyl
  • #2 Soundtrack
  • #4 Indie Album
  • #19 Top Internet
  • #22 Top Albums
  • #27 Top Digital

The expansive Rick and Morty soundtrack available now on digital, CD and double LP pressed vinyl features music from the show’s composer Ryan Elder, songs from Chaos ChaosBlonde RedheadMazzy Star, and Belly, and two brand new tracks from Chad VanGaalen and Clipping inspired by the popular series.

For holiday gift giving and collectors alike, the double deluxe LP and traditional cassette tape will be released on Friday, Nov. 23rd. The deluxe vinyl set will include an exclusive pressed colored vinyl housed in a box with an etched plexiglass window with LED lights which make the etching glow, a custom poster, a patch, a sticker, and a bonus 7” single (featuring an extended mix of the screaming sun from the 2nd season finale.)
