Los Angeles-based ska band featuring lead singer Aimee Interrupter along with three brothers Kevin, Justin, and Jesse Bivona on guitar, bass and drums, make super-high energy ska-punk music with lyrics that take on matters as controversial as martial law and big brotherism. They churn out rock-steady rhythms and snarly guitar riffs. Aimee points out that the band’s fast-and-loose approach was key to giving her a vocal performance the raw urgency that the lyrics demanded.
“We have a lot of things to be outraged about and we need to sing about those things, but we make sure to keep it fun. Sometimes it’s good to be happily outraged.” Bad Cop Bad Cop is a kick-ass, all girl, four piece band featuring three part harmonies, catchy hooks and a killer drummer.
