American punk rockers Titus Andronicus from New Jersey will hit the Talf stage on Monday. The intense front man Patrick Stickles is the lead vocalist, guitarist and lyricist of the band. Their album “Local Business” was listed as #38 on Rolling Stone’s top albums of 2012. Titus Andronicus has performed on “Late night with Jimmy Fallon” and on Carson Daly’s talk show twice. Stickles describes the band as a “complicated metaphor about manic depression, melding elements of philosophy, psychology and science fiction though the plight of one troubled protagonist’s inner demons.” Openin act Craig Finn is an American singer, songwriter and guitarist. Finn is most notable for his third person narrative lyrical style frequently referencing literature, pop culture, adolescence, partying, religion and drugs. His current solo album is called “Faith in the Future.” Craig Finn provided the voice of Walt Whitman on the song  “A Pot in Which to Piss” off Titus Andronicus’ second album “The Monitor.”
