Classic rock icon ZZ Top is bringing their bluesy Texas rock act to Darien Lake. It’s worth the trip out there if you’re a fan of sizzling guitar and rythm grooves you drive a locomotive on. Music writer Cub Koda wrote “As genuine roots artists, ZZ Top has few peers; Billy Gibbons is one of America’s finest blues guitarists working in the arena rock idiom and bassist Dusty Hill and drummer Frank Beard provide the ultimate rhythm section.”  There is a lot more to them than long beards an sunglasses. With the cancellation of Gregg Allman’s Summer Tour, Randy Bachman is more than a suitable replacement. Apart from his long-time association with Guess Who and Bachman-Turner Overdrive, guitarist Randy Bachman is recognized for his numerous solo works. Randy Bachman has a smooth, gentle guitar tone which contributed to such hits as “American Woman”, “These Eyes”, “No Time” and “She Comes Undone.” But Bachman can rock as well, evidenced by the hit song, “Taking Care of Business.” I’m sure he will!
