This graphic novel is psychologically charged with humanity and reveals knee-jerk attitudes towards potential threats and the effect of living in fear in America. Creators, Ed Brisson and Johnnie Christmas bring this “end of days” parable ticking towards a reckoning, but it’s a reckoning which does not arrive as scheduled, and new and totally unexpected devastation develops in this “safe” Haven. Sheltered delivers a strong dose of reality under pressure and much more in a strong narrative from this highly recommended series.
