The Tins Kickstarter Benefit Show

Mohawk Place | 7pm-2am | free

An all night show featuring music by the Tins, Parade Chic, Sharon Mok of Tiny Rhymes, the Mustn’ts, the Soft Love, the Waves, Brimstone Blondes, and a surprise DJ Set. There will be food by Ashker’s, caricatures, chair massages, and basket raffles. Donations to the Tins Kickstarter to fund their second album and documentary are welcome.

Desmadrados Soldados de Ventura

Sugar City | 8pm | $7

Although their name may be tricky to pronounce, the Manchester based group performs music described as psych jam rock that will make any audience move and groove. On Friday night, they’ll be performing at Sugar City with Flesh Trade.

Savannah and The Kings

Studio @ Waiting Room | 9pm | $10

The jazzy/folk outfit Savannah and the Kings will be releasing their debut album, Bold & Unsteady this Friday at the Studio @ Waiting Room. Opening up the show will be the Niagara Falls indie/folk group, Tapered Creek.

Del Paxton

Black Dots | 5pm | free

Buffalo’s own alternative emo rock group, Del Paxton will be hitting it off at Black Dots (located on Lafayette and Grant) Saturday night. Cages and Bryan Johnson & Family will be opening up the show starting at 5pm.

Sleepy Hahas

Mohawk Place | 8pm | $5

The in-your-face Buffalo indie psych band, Sleepy Hahas will be performing at Mohawk Place this Saturday. Opening the show will be The Naturalists, Handsome Jack, and Bearhunter.

Nietzche’s | 10pm | $5

Surf rock four piece Bryan Johnson & Family will be sharing the stage with indie rock group M.A.G.s, Midnight Hollow, and American low.

2015 Small Press Book Fair

Karpeles Manuscript Library Museum, Porter Hall | Sat 11am-6pm | Sun 11am-5pm

The 9th annual Buffalo Small Press Book Fair will bring together hundreds of vendors and thousands of writers and artists in one beautiful place.
