On Friday, (6/5) the Tralf Music Hall hosted the grand finale of the Artvoice Battle of Original Music (B.O.O.M.). An electrified, packed house enjoyed excellent performances by Intent to Sell, Luanjie, Erica Wolfling, and grand prize winners Uncle Ben’s Remedy—who took home $5,000 and an opening slot on 107.7’s Kerfuffle show at Canalside on July 25. The runners-up received prizes of recording time from Chilliam Studios and home recording equipment courtesy of Guitar Factory. Thanks to all involved, for proving once again that we have an awesome local music scene.

Artvoice staffers were soaking up the sun and the good vibes while marching in this year’s Pride Parade on Sunday (6/7). The event was a smashing success and a fitting conclusion to Pride Week 2015.
