An award-winning Irish music sensation from Ann Arbor, Michigan, Millish will perform at the Shannon Pub this Sunday (July 29), before embarking on a Mid-Western tour through middle America. With original compositions and a unique approach, Millish delivers Celtic music with an nod to jazz, a musical genre that all the members have an active interest in. The band is comprised of champion bluegrass fiddler Brad Phillips, award-winning jazz percussionist Mike Shimmin, world champion Uilleann piper Tyler Duncan and guitarist Jesse Lee Mason. Millish also won an International Acoustic Music Award with its second album in 2006, most notably for Jesse Mason’s track “Hungry Man.” Sunday night’s concert begins at 6pm.
