Kazmierczak to Leave Performing Arts
by Buck Quigley
Principal takes new job in Tonawanda
With little fanfare, Buffalo Academy of Visual and Performing Arts High School Principal Kevin Kazmierczak has accepted a two-year probationary position at Tonawanda High School. His new position will pay $108,000 yearly, and his departure from the Buffalo Schools will leave a void at BAVPA. It was only this school year that BAVPA moved into a newly renovated home at 450 Masten Avenue, into a building that had received $35 million worth of work thanks to the ongoing, $1 billion Joint Schools Construction Project.
