Neglia Ballet’s Spring Gala is May 18th

Neglia Ballet Artists announces their annual Spring Gala on Saturday, May 18, 2024 at 7:30 pm.

The Spring Gala is an evening of exquisite classical and unique contemporary dance performances followed by a dessert and champagne reception with dancer meet-and greet. Don’t miss this opportunity to enjoy world-class live dance performances right here in Western New York!

Artists Emily Bromberg & Chase Swatosh (soloist with Miami City Ballet) have special permission to perform Christopher Wheeldon’s “This Bitter Earth”. Wheeldon recently won a Tony Award for Best Choreography for MJ The Musical.

Dana Benton & Jonnathan Ramirez will reprise Val Caniporali’s heart-wrenching pas de deux “Lady of the Camellias” that was an audience favorite at last year’s Spring Gala.

Rainer Krenstetter & Tricia Albertson received special permission to perform George Balanchine’s fast-stepping and high energy “Who Cares” set to George Gershwin.

Neglia Ballet Alumna Maggie Weatherdon, now with Royal Winnipeg Ballet, will perform Heidi Halt’s “Symphony in F” soulfully scored by Johannes Brahms. Rowan Lindamood, a senior student at Neglia Conservatory of Ballet will perform “Don Quixote Variation”, a piece that secured his participation recently at the Youth America Grand Prix Finals at Lincoln Center.
