CEPA Gallery position open for a new Executive Director

CEPA Gallery, a renowned contemporary photography and visual arts center, is excited to announce that it is now accepting resumes for the Executive Director position. This national search seeks a visionary leader to guide the gallery into its next chapter of artistic innovation and community engagement.

Located in the heart of Buffalo, the CEPA Gallery has been a cornerstone of the local and national art scene for over 50 years, showcasing cutting-edge photography and visual arts. The Executive Director will oversee all aspects of the gallery’s operations, including strategic planning, fundraising, program development, and community outreach.

“We are seeking a dynamic and visionary leader who is passionate about contemporary art and committed to fostering a vibrant cultural community,” said the CEPA Gallery Board of Directors. “The ideal candidate will have a strong background in nonprofit management, a deep understanding of the arts, and a proven track record of leadership and fundraising success.”

Responsibilities of the Executive Director include:

  • Leading the development and implementation of strategic plans
  • Overseeing daily operations and ensuring financial stability
  • Expanding the gallery’s community presence and partnerships
  • Curating innovative exhibitions and educational programs
  • Enhancing donor relations and driving fundraising initiatives
