35 Miles: Fluid Connections is Dr. Mark D. Donnelly’s photographic celebration of Buffalo’s dynamic waterfront. Donnelly’s photographs capture the expansive, sweeping quality that makes these scenes of Buffalo’s natural beauty so sublime. Choosing local landscapes such as the downtown Buffalo skyline, Niagara Falls, and the Erie Canal Terminus, Donnelly makes an effort to visually connect the drops from lake-to-lake of the powerful force that binds our community together.

Paintings and sculpture by Shawn Roberts at the Big Orbit gallery feature a strange combination of images of innocence and death and devastation. What’s most strange is that the innocence seems oblivious about its own annihilation in progress.
