THURS 5/21 Yo Mama's Big Fat Booty Band

Don’t let the name deter you; this is one funk event that’s going to blow the roof off the place at Buffalo Iron Works this Thursday night. Expect a night full of funk, old school rap, and soul.

FRI 5/22 103.3 The Edge Presents Rock Radio Karaoke

Studio @ Waiting Room | 10pm | free

If you haven’t check out the live karaoke band yet, here is your chance. Presented by 103.3, Rock Radio Karaoke gives you the chance to be a rock star. You can sing everything from The Deftones to Taylor Swift on stage with a live band to back you up as you go.

SAT 5/23 Ice Nine Kills

The hard hitting in-your-face rock group, Ice Nine Kill will be kicking things off at the Waiting Room with Get Scared, Upon This Dawning, Chasing Safety, and Brightwell. This bands will all make your head spin with heavy guitars and double kick bass drums.

MON 5/25 Downtown Boys

Sugar City | 6pm | $6

Downtown Boys are a bilingual political punk group from Providence Road Island. They are made up of two saxophones, guitar, drums, with vocals by Victoria Ruiz. If you’re in the mood for a dance party, Sugar City is the place to be this Monday night.

WED 5/27 Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas

The 9th Ward at Babeville | 8pm | $10

Jessica Hernandez & the Deltas can be described as rockabilly, surf-pop, cabaret jazz, Latin psych, and punk. “We get called a lot of different things from a lot of different people,” Hernandez says. “It’s a combination of stuff that’s really fun and dark and makes you feel a whole range of emotions.” Opening the show will be Buffalo’s Indie Rock favorites, The Albrights.
