Much to my dismay, as I hurried to pick up a copy of this week’s issue I was frozen in my tracks by the image on the cover. Unimaginative sexist image at best and an invitation to rape at worst. Shaven pubic hair? Completely passive hairless mannequin lost in a sea of ropey hair—not too flattering to real women with real desire. As far as I can surmise, this is a cover designed for male arousal.

Feminism 101—depriving women of their sexuality and making them into prepubescent toys…yuk!
