Peanut Brittle Satellite holds its first CD Release Party this Saturday (June 7) at Nietzsche’s starting at 9pm. A relatively young band, PBS formed just eight months ago, and they’ve been hard at work on their debut recording Incandescent Light. Featuring a medley of musical styles and citing influnces from Shostakovich to Primus, this seven-man band is comprised of lots more ingredients than the candy it is named for. Salty, sweet, crunchy, and good and bad for you at the same time? Sounds just right. Special guests include some more of Buffalo’s best rock outfits, with appearances by Armcannon, Ramforinkus, and Shapes of States.
