Jethro Tull Tribute, Living With The Past (June 28)

There’s no one who incorporated hardcore flute playing into the rock genre like the epic British musical group Jethro Tull, who’d be commemorating their 40th anniversary this year. Still going strong is Tull’s famous tribute band, Living with the Past, performing at Club Infinity on Saturday (June 28). Joining them will be the Grammy Award-winning bassist from Jethro Tull and Fairport Convention, Dave Pegg, and flying in from England with him will be fellow musician and talented solo guitarist, PJ Wright. The set list will include songs from the Broadsword and Crest of Knave Era, when Pegg and Tull won their Grammy, as well as a few surprises along the way. Pegg and Wright will be opening the show with a set of their own material, much of it from their new CD, Galileo’s Apology. Doors open at 7pm. —emmalie vance
