Rep.-John-E.-Moss

US Rep. John E. Moss (1915 – 1997) displays some of the secrecy stamps that appeared on classified documents. Moss (D-Calif.) might be said to be the father of the Freedom of Information Act in the USA. Moss championed the federal Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) through multiple sessions of the United States House of Representatives where he served from 1953 to 1979.
