Lady Gaga Welcomes Her First Child With Fiancé Michael Polansky
Lady Gaga is a mother. The Grammy and Oscar-winning singer, 40, welcomed her first child with fiancé Michael Polansky, 42, multiple outlets confirmed Friday, September 11.
Page Six obtained photos of the couple on a quiet walk in Northern California, with Gaga wearing the newborn against her chest in a carrier sling, Polansky walking alongside her in a casual hoodie and baseball cap.
The baby's name, gender and exact birth date have not been disclosed. Gaga's representatives did not immediately confirm.
Neither of them announced the pregnancy publicly, just as they never formally announced their engagement in April 2024, letting the ring do the talking.
Gaga had been open about wanting to be a mother. "What I really want is to be a mom. That's my next starring role, I hope," she told The Late Show with Stephen Colbert in 2025. She wrapped her 86-show global Mayhem Ball tour in April and stepped out of public life entirely afterward. Now we know why.
Polansky, a tech entrepreneur and co-founder of Parker Group, was credited as a co-writer on her Grammy-winning album Mayhem and on her song Glamorous Life from The Devil Wears Prada 2.
They met in 2019 at a party hosted by Napster founder Sean Parker. Her mom knew before she did. "My mom met him and she said to me, 'I think I just met your husband,'" Gaga told Vogue.
