Writer and director Kevin Del Principe is returning home to Western New York from Los Angeles to give a reading and signing of his new novel, I Animal, recently published by Tumbleweed Books. The novel is set in a fictional version of Del Principe’s childhood home, on the border of West Seneca and South Cheektowaga.
This has been a big creative year for Del Principe. He recently completed principal photography on his feature film UP ON THE GLASS that he directed and co-wrote. Like I Animal, UP ON THE GLASS is also set in the Midwest. Del Principe is inspired by stories based in the Midwest and recently established a production company, Save Them Wild Dogs, focused on connecting the Midwest and the coasts through cinema.
Del Principe will be offering a reading and signing of I Animal at Revolution Gallery on Friday, August 17th from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The event is free to the public, but intended for an adult audience.
“My mind often travels back to where I grew up in my creative work. It’s been satisfying to live in a fictional version of my old neighborhood while writing this book,” says author Kevin Del Principe.
