Shakespeare in Delaware Park –– The Comedy of Errors Opens THIS THURSDAY (7/25)

In  The Comedy of Errors Antipholus and his servant, Dromio, seek their identical twins, also named Antipholus and Dromio.  They find themselves in Ephesus, where their twin brothers live.  After some coincidences, shenanigans, mistaken identities, mishaps, and misunderstandings, the twins find one another, as well as their long-lost parents.

While remaining true to Shakespeare’s story, text, and traditions, this quick-paced and energetic production will be set within the tapestry of 1970s variety and game shows – think ROWAN & MARTIN’S LAUGH-IN, LET’S MAKE A DEAL, and MATCH GAME.  This will be a rich, colorful weaving of comedic fabric – fast, flamboyant and fun!
