Lori Loughlin Files For Divorce After Nearly 29 Years
Lori Loughlin, 62, filed for divorce from husband Mossimo Giannulli before the Labor Day weekend, petitioning for dissolution of marriage in a Los Angeles court and citing irreconcilable differences. She listed their date of separation as August 31, 2025, meaning she has been living apart from Giannulli for more than a year before making it legal.
A prenuptial agreement signed in October 1997 governs their separate property. A judge will determine community property rights. Spousal support is reserved for future determination.
The couple married November 27, 1997 and share two daughters, Olivia Jade, 26, and Isabella Rose, 27.
Their marriage survived the 2019 Operation Varsity Blues college admissions scandal, in which both pleaded guilty to wire and mail fraud for paying nearly $500,000 in bribes to get their daughters into the University of Southern California.
Loughlin served approximately two months in federal prison in late 2020. Giannulli served five months. They survived the scandal. They did not survive whatever came after.
In October 2025, the same month Loughlin's rep confirmed they were living apart, her Full House co-star John Stamos went on the Good Guys podcast and said of Giannulli: "She's not a liar. She's a saint. She didn't deserve to be dragged through that. I know for a fact it was all him."
He also called Giannulli "a terrible narcissist." Giannulli has not publicly commented. Neither has Loughlin.
