Brian Duckworth, Member Of Trio Taylor Made, Has Died At 56

Brian Duckworth, one of three siblings who formed the West Virginia country trio Taylor Made alongside sister Wendy and brother Greg, has died, USA Today reported Thursday. No cause of death, age or further details were immediately confirmed. He was 56.

Taylor Made takes its name from Taylor County, West Virginia, where all three Duckworth siblings grew up as numbers four, five and six of seven children from Grafton.

The group built a regional following in West Virginia and the surrounding area performing a mix of originals, country covers and gospel rooted in the family's musical upbringing. Brian was the group's baritone voice, compared in interviews to a young Merle Haggard.

The band performed at the inaugural Born and Bred Music Festival in 2018 and continued playing the West Virginia regional circuit.

Their sound was built on three-part sibling harmonies that Wendy Duckworth Adams described as unlike anyone else, shaped by their mother's insistence that each member "stay on your own cloud."
