Presley Gerber, Son Of Cindy Crawford And Rande Gerber, Has Died At 27
Presley Gerber died Sunday September 20 at a rehabilitation facility in Los Angeles. He was 27 years old. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner confirmed the death.
His family, parents Cindy Crawford and Rande Gerber and sister Kaia Gerber, released a brief statement: "The family is asking for privacy during this very difficult and painful time." An official cause of death is pending autopsy results.
Presley had been one of the most publicly candid young figures in Hollywood when it came to his struggles. In 2024 he revealed a multi-year severe opiate addiction and a near-fatal fentanyl overdose that left him in a coma for several days.
In December 2025 he posted a seven-minute video on Instagram detailing his medication regimen, Buprenorphine, Xanax, valium and others, and said he had seen 15 different psychiatrists without feeling he had a clear treatment path. "I need some direction," he said. Cindy Crawford commented: "We love you and you are not alone." He later deleted the post.
His sister Kaia discussed their family's experience in the September 2026 issue of Vogue — published just days before his death, describing Presley's "decade-long struggle with drug addiction" and saying "when something like that happens in a family, it kind of levels everyone."
He said he wanted to eventually help others going through similar battles. He was 27 years old.
